For the longest time people couldn’t figure out why Koreans were constantly winning in short speed skating races. One theory says that Koreans were technically trained from a very young age, some as young as 3 under high levels of discipline. Kids didn’t get to choose whether or not they wanted to speed skate they were forced by their parents. Another reason is that some Koreans were found break dancing which is actually created by brute strength and technical repetition, which in needed when speed skating. While break dancing you need to convert and invert your body.
