In their game against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, January 21, the Bruins played very poorly in the 1st period, letting up a goal off a Charlie McAvoy turnover. They had multiple turnovers and the offense was sloppy. Being down in the 2nd, David Pastrnak netted an outstanding sharp-angle goal to tie the game at 1. Torey Krug hit a blistering wrister to grab the lead. David Pastrnak got his second goal of the game off of his own rebound late in the 3rd. Later in the 3rd, the Habs pulled their goalie and the B’s knocked in an empty-netter to make it 4-1.
